I am excited to be joining the team at the Distance Learning Centre. I look forward to meeting some of you, working with you and supporting you on your learning path.
I have taught for 34 years in Saskatchewan and Alberta, mainly with Saskatchewan Rivers School Division. I have worked with many different grades and with students with various learning styles. My husband also teaches school. Our family includes our son, daughter a newly added son-in-law and our two dogs-Ellie, the Doodle and Meeka, the Maltipoo. Besides teaching, we run a painting and an interior design company. We enjoy spending our summers at our cabin at Bells Beach and taking trips to Hawaii!
I have a passion that all students will gain a love for reading and a desire to learn. I believe in individualizing learning for each student so that they find success and gain confidence in themselves as a learner.
I am looking forward to an exciting school year!
